At Caribbean Gems, we are very proud of the jewelry we manufacture and sell. Every piece has been handcrafted by talented artisans whose skills were passed down through families from generation to generation. Devotion to this unique craftsmanship shows in every beautiful piece. We have hand selected the most beautiful and unique stones, pearls and gems for our jewelry collection. Minor variations in design, stone colors and shades are natural occurrences, which add to the beauty of the piece, and should not be viewed as flaws. Our diamonds are graded to GIA standards and are hand picked and set for each piece of jewelry.Caribbean Gems will refund your purchase price in full if the product does not appraise for a value higher than the purchase price and if the item is returned within 30 days of purchase. Appraisals must be done within 30 days of purchase by an independent, certified laboratory that does not buy or sell loose precious gemstones and jewelry.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Within 30 days of your purchase, your may receive a store credit on your purchase, provided the item is returned new, unused and undamaged, along with the original sales slip, laboratory reports, appraisals and other paperwork. No merchandise will be accepted for return without an RMA (return merchandise authorization) issued by our Customer Service Department. All items to be returned must be sent freight prepaid and fully insured to our office in St. Maarten. Each item on your sales slip is considered a separate item under the Terms and Conditions of your purchase. Caribbean Gems reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges on items that have been specially ordered, sized or altered.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
Merchandise that is deemed defective and reported to us within thirty days of purchase and verified by our customer service department will be repaired at no charge. If the item is un-repairable, Caribbean Gems will offer a replacement of equal value.
MANUFACTURER’S GUARANTEE
Many products we sell, especially watches, are covered by the respective manufacturers guarantees and as such are not returnable. In the event that service is required, please contact the manufacturer’s authorized service center.
BUYERS REMORSE
No refunds will be offered due to buyer’s remorse. In the event that you wish to return merchandise due to buyer’s remorse, Caribbean Gems reserves the right to charge a twenty-five per cent re-stocking fee on the purchase price. No merchandise will be accepted for return without an RMA (return merchandise authorization) issued by our Customer Service Department. All items to be returned must be sent freight prepaid and fully insured to our office in St. Maarten. You must include with the item being returned the original sales slip, laboratory reports, appraisals and other paperwork that are provided with the item purchased. The item being returned must be new, unused and undamaged. Each item on your sales slip is considered a separate item under the Terms and Conditions of your purchase. MAILINGAll items being sent back to us must be sent via insured mail or courier. We will not be responsible for items that are lost in transit.
APPRAISALS
Upon request, we will provide a certificate of authenticity for items purchased over $500, that will describe in detail what you are getting, including the metals and gemstones used in the manufacture of the item. Appraisal values will be based on fair retail value in St. Maarten, unless requested otherwise. Appraisals will be prepared by one of our qualified personnel using instruments and formulas in accordance with international standards set forth by the Gemological Institute of America. REPAIRSWe maintain multiple service centers in the US to handle all repairs and problems our clients may have with their jewelry. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your purchase, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-848-7925 and they will gladly assist you. We cannot and will not reimburse for repairs that are made outside of our service centers. All warranties are void if an item is handled or repaired outside of our service center.
