“ Greetings Friends! Our first trip to Sint Maarten was in May of 2007. I have been an avid gemstone collector for a few years now and had recently found an emerald that needed to be set in a gold pendant. Some local friends told us to be sure to see Manu at Caribbean Gems while visiting there. At that time I was also looking for a matching ring. Manu found exactly what I wanted at an incredible price! So I left that visit with a ring and matching pendant. A few months afterwards Manu mailed me matching earrings that had been especially set for my unpierced ears. After examing them and deciding to keep them I mailed him a check. Later that year I mined a 17.4 carat 'not so good' emerald, but it was big and the color was acceptable. In February of 2008 I returned to Manu with that stone and left with a timeless treasure! He designed a mounting and redesigned a gold bracelet surrounding the emerald with diamonds to match the ring that had been previously purchased. My emerald set is my favorite in my collection. I love doing business with Caribbean Gems. I have also purchased a ring from Caribbean Gems in Ketchikan, Alaska. Deepu was just as helpful as Manu!
